Most dumpster companies make you call for a price. Ours are printed, so this is a short article.
A 10 yard dumpster runs $325 for 1 day, $350 for up to 3 days, and $375 for up to 7. The 15 yard is $350, $375, and $400 on the same schedule. The 20 yard is $380, $420, and $450. Every rental includes disposal weight: 1 ton with the 10 yard, 2 tons with the 15 and the 20. There’s no delivery fee and no pickup fee, and the booking calendar shows the full price before you pay.
The only two charges that can be added
Plenty of companies quote one price and bill another. A $300 dumpster turns into $500 because the drop-off was $100 and the pickup was another $100. We don’t do any of that. Exactly two things can move the price after you book:
- Weight over the included tonnage, at $75 a ton
- Keeping the dumpster past your rental period, at $30 a day
Both get communicated before they’re charged. If your load weighs in heavy at the landfill, Charles calls you, tells you the overage to the dollar, and asks before the card you booked with gets charged. Nobody finds a surprise on a statement.
What changes the price
Size is the obvious one, but days matter less than people think: going from 1 day to 7 on a 10 yard is $50 total, not $50 a day. If there’s any chance the project runs long, book the longer window up front.
Location matters at the edges of the map. King George and Caroline County carry a small travel fee for the road time, quoted before you book. Everywhere else inside our 30 miles, Fredericksburg, Stafford, Spotsylvania, out to Bumpass and northern Orange County, pays the printed price and nothing else.
Heavy material has its own rule: concrete, dirt, and brick go in the 10 yard only, because a bigger dumpster full of that weight is more than the truck can lift. Booking the right size for a heavy load keeps the price exactly where the calendar said it would be.
If you want us to do the loading too, that’s an add-on, and the price depends on the size and how much there is to load. Questions about a specific job? Call (540) 444-3867 and describe the pile. Charles prices jobs on the phone all day.
